As an interim communications coordinator at ISBT, I noticed that the organization had a wealth of knowledge, but lacked easy-to-read short form communication assets. I was worried ISBT missed opportunities to connect with their international audience of blood transfusion professionals, and decided to mix some things up.

 

By creating funfact scientific visuals for their social media channels and shortening the texts in their mailings by cutting copy and adding imagery and graphics, I created measurable results: the following on social media increased by 60% and their upcoming conference filled up twice as fast in the two months that I joined their team.
